SPINATO DI FIUME

L1

SPINATO DI FIUME is a covering made of river pebbles with a natural cleft surface and authentic red clay Salvaged Bricks, supplied separately in useful quantities; the back is partly sawn and partly cleft to allow bonding but they are also available whole in the Muro version.
The shape and size of these pebbles allows the creation of one of the oldest weaving installations: Spinato, which provides for the oblique positioning of pebbles divided by size and then aligned in courses of different heights, alternating brick courses to define horizontal sections. This model does not imitate but is simply the original expression of those walls that from long time divide land properties or decorate farmsteads simply by showing and therefore giving dignity to common and poor materials.

The SPINATO DI FIUME covering belongs to the Muri Della Tradizione: made with local materials, they are the natural expression of architecture that reflect the character of the places they belong to.

Our ashlars in natural stone are supplied already rough-shaped and carved with chisel work on the sides and are therefore ready for use; for an excellent combination it may be necessary to further work the stone during the installation, especially in case of SEMI-DRY or DRY installation, in these cases an increase of material from 10 to 20% must be considered to compensate for the waste produced.
