SCAGLIA

S2

SCAGLIA is a yellow Italian Quartzite covering in small size ashlars, with cleft and natural cleft faces, available with sawn back for bonding or in solid piece in the Muro version. A precious, imprudent and unique quartz surface: it has no desire to align with anything not even with itself and for this reason its ashlars are staggered and proudly show different overhangs. Edges and facets distinguish this model, vibrant thanks to the deep shadows that the light draws on the bright yellow canvas already enriched by oxidation and natural incrustations.
Suitable for both outdoor and indoor, especially to cover insulated walls of limited extension.

The SCAGLIA covering belongs to the Muri Spontanei where the processing of stone ashlars does not involve the exposed face that remains naturally rough: the congenital face of rustic buildings but also of the most contemporary architecture.

Our ashlars in natural stone are supplied already rough-shaped and carved with chisel work on the sides and are therefore ready for use; for an excellent combination it may be necessary to further work the stone during the installation, especially in case of SEMI-DRY or DRY installation, in these cases an increase of material from 10 to 20% must be considered to compensate for the waste produced.
